Watch the Video: Experience the Impact Firsthand
At Total Solutions Group (TSG), moments like this remind us why community impact matters. Recently, our founder, Mike Keesee, was featured in an interview highlighting a project that went far beyond construction — a community-led effort to deliver a mortgage-free home for a deserving veteran in Eatonville, Florida.
What made the interview especially powerful wasn’t just the story behind the build — it was the emotion. As Mike reflected on the project, he shared that he found himself tearing up, overwhelmed by the impact this collective effort was making on a real life.
A Community Effort to Build a Mortgage-Free Home
The project was led by Building Homes for Heroes in partnership with the Greater Orlando Builders Association and supported by a coalition of builders, contractors, and service partners, all united around a shared mission: providing long-term housing security for a deserving veteran.
By donating time, expertise, and materials, the group is working together to construct a home that Ms. Golden will own outright — giving her peace of mind, financial freedom, and a place to truly call home.
For TSG, participating in a project like this reflects our ongoing commitment to community-focused construction and meaningful partnerships that make a lasting difference.
TSG, alongside Quick Tie Services, contributed early and essential support to the build, helping ensure the home’s foundation and structural components were solid from the start. While the technical work was critical, the project represented something far greater than construction milestones.
It was about showing up — using industry knowledge to serve a real need and being part of something that would change a life forever.
A Moment That Moved Everyone Involved
During his video interview, Mike shared that he found himself tearing up as he reflected on the project. Seeing so many partners come together — not for profit, but for purpose — made the significance of the moment impossible to ignore.
That emotion resonated deeply because it was genuine. This wasn’t just another job site. It was a reminder of what can happen when businesses lead with heart and align their work with impact.
Why Projects Like This Matter
A mortgage-free home offers far more than shelter:
- Long-term financial stability for a veteran and her family
- Peace of mind and security that can’t be overstated
- A powerful example of how community partnerships can create real change
At TSG, we are proud to play a role in projects that reflect our values and demonstrate the positive impact the construction industry can have when it comes together with intention.
